I'm just curious about what other people have dealt with, other than my autoimmune the worst i've dealt with is going septic after a surgery. I don't think I would wish sepsis on my worst enemy (it's pretty deadly), for those unfamiliar with it, without signs of organ damage its mortality rate is 15-30% and with organ damage (septic shock) its around 60% fatality rate. When I was diagnosed with it I had to stay in the hospital 5 days (and have emergency surgery to remove my port which caused the infection).

I had a rare form of meningitis and pneumonia simultaneously. I nearly died. It was not fun being quarantined by the CDC.
The other time happened in 2014 - my adrenals shut down and I didn't know it. While I was at work, I started to feel like shit and was not allowed to go home nor take a lunch break. My blood sugar dropped to 32, and I literally died. They did CPR on me after the security guard found me. Obviously I survived. But I did actually die. 8 broken ribs and a cracked sternum later... bleh. I recovered and got the help from an endocrinologist that I needed.

Dehydration once when I was in Thailand, had to stay 1 night in hospital.
I was only drinking soda, almost never drank any water. Big mistake!
My dad lives there for work so it wasn't as bad as I had to take care of everything myself so
I never really had anything worst than that, or anything else health related except having my tumb and hand stiched cause I accidently cut myself and slided my hand over a sharp obstacle but thats really it.

I've faced with hair loss once and it was terrible. It happened after inappropriate hair dye. I've burned my hair badly, it became fragile and soon I started losing it. Terrible memories but now everything is ok. Read how to fix orange hair just not to repeat my mistakes.

In order of least to worst: I've had mononucleosis, bronchitis and pneumonia (not all at the same time); over the past 25 or so years I've had a bunch of kidney stones; I had my gall bladder removed 1 1/2 years ago; and I had endometrial cancer about 4 1/2 years ago.

I had mono and spinal meningitis when I was a senior in high school. I had been in and out of doctors offices all thru that November before I was diagnosed in the ER after Thanksgiving. Missed about 3 months of school and had to have my work brought to me until my doctor FINALLY cleared me to go back.

I was turned into a new once, but I got better.
Seriously though, chronic bronchitis as a kid, in and out of plastic respiratory tents at the hospital as a tot.

Sudden appendicitis during my school trip to France, I can barely remember the trip itself.
Nowadays the only thing that gives me trouble nowadays is plantar fasciitis. That's why my browser history is filled with articles like this. That's ironic because I wanted to start hiking and running to lose some weight. Can you lose weight by hiking? - Quora What do you think about it?
