Mission Statement
Fever's Got Talent portion of the retention team aims to take an active role in attempting to keep members interested in staying apart of our community through the activity and continued community effort to include members in activities that they find interests in. Through diversity and community initiative we strive to create common forum where all users feel not only welcome, but are encouraged to stay and participate.
Goal
The goal of the Fever's Got Talent is to have members "compete" in a tournament style setting where members can showcase their personal talents.
Requirements
What can be submitted
We are looking for video or audio from our users. It can be anything they think is worth entering as long as it is "PG13" meaning no nudity, mild violence (nothing extreme or hyper realistic) and mild language (anything deemed to be racist, offensive or overly sexual in nature will not be allowed). When the official thread gets created for the Fever's Got Talent contest, only submissions will be allowed to be posted.
Judging
We will attempt to find 3 judges that have some skill or talent in the area being judged. If this is not possible, we will hold a voting round with all volunteers. Judges will be rewarded with 200 Fever coins for participation.
Rewards
The rewards for the contest are as follows : Participants (meaning judges and anyone who submits content as an entry that meets the requirements for the contest) will be given a "participation reward" of 200 Fever coins. A runner-up reward will be provided to the person who comes in 2nd place for a total of 500 Fever coins and the overall contest winner will receive a total of 1,000 Fever coins.
What we need help with
Contest Time :
We need to decide how long we want to allow for the contest to run, submission entry time, judging time etc.
Suggestions to revisit when more progress has been made
Getting a hold of Ayden to get information on those who already submitted entries, attempting to get them to reenter.

Requirements
- We require that any submission being entered is original content only. If preforming a cover or utilizing content that was created by someone else they must credit them in the media they use to record the submission.
- All content may feature other members in a "collaboration" or "team" entry but they will be paired with other team entries should there be any available.
- Submissions will be limited to 60 second clips. If the contestant(s) pass on to the next round they will be allowed up to 90 seconds.
- All submissions must be uploaded to youtube and all video media must be in at least 720P.
- Any content provided cannot have been uploaded any more than 30 days prior to the launch of this contest.
- If submitting an audio clip a stand in image or graphic may be applied if the contestant would rather not appear in the video.
- The video may be uploaded and made private, but a link must be made available so that fever members (only people within the clan) can see the content.

Not that I am aware of, but this is being started anew. I want us to brainstorm and figure this out fresh since we are a new team. I think old submissions should just be updated and reentered.

If that is the case we will need to contact anybody we know that submitted a entry to let them know we need it again. Or so i think. Not that I am aware of, but this is being started anew. We will, in due time, but I'm almost positive that no one submitted, the idea was not implemented as far as I know. For now I want to get everything set up and nail down a plan of attack, get approval, iron out details required to implement, then draw up a plan on getting the word out there.

I have talked to Ayden and there were a few who submitted. Including myself. Assuming is never a good thing, it can lead to unpleasant situations.

I'm glad that people submitted in the last stage of the Got Talent contest, but honestly guys, I'm not even ready to deal with those submissions yet. I was tasked with starting the idea and getting it worked out, ready for implementation. I don't even have a solid floor plan layed out yet for how to do this. The old Got Talent contest was a flop so rather than picking up where it was and moving on, I want to just start fresh. No offense to Ayden, he worked hard on what he did. I really appreciate you guys trying to help out, but I think we should focus on the logistics and core system before we start trying to take on too many things at once.

I dont think anybody was trying to revive the old one or jump forward. i posted my thought when i saw it. Jess did as well. Your taking it a tad far. It needed a revamp we get that. Just take peoples ideas and add them to your OP for "To do" or "Suggested ideas".I'm glad that people submitted in the last stage of the Got Talent contest, but honestly guys, I'm not even ready to deal with those submissions yet. Thats the purpose of these threads is to brainstorm and to just shoot off ideas and what not. I just wanted to make sure before this goes full force we take into account previous submissions.

Alright, I've tried to word this as nicely as I can so let me be blunt (not rude) : I understand people made previous enteries to another contest. I am not at all interested in trying to worry about contacting people for them because rather then worry about getting those, I need to lay the ground work for this first. Those sumbmissions may not even qualify to be entered into the contest once all the rules are established.
AFTER all of this is planned, ready, and we roll it out from there, then we can worry about previous submissions. As far as "taking it to far", I am the one telling you to back up and stop worrying about step 15 when we haven't finished step 1. You said you were "fully aware of what we need to do" Then I'm asking you to take a step back, and try to get on the same page as me. We can work on this as a team or the snide comments can keep being dropped and we can handle that situation.
