I'd say the main point is quad-channel ram, and 6 core CPU support for sure. The PCIe lanes have been tested heavily, and have come out to a big fat just about 0 performance gain when compared to Z77 in SLI etc. The only thing I saw an actual difference with was a Xeon Phi, which is a whole different ballgame. Maybe many years down the road it'll matter, but we're talking a lot of time.

The point in the 2011 platform isnt that itll support a 6 core cpu, its the 40 pci-e lanes that make them special. On a standard platform, you get 16 lanes to the cpu, which cuts performance when running sli/cfx. Its also why you typically only see single gpus in those setups. ;)

Not saying anything bad about the 6 core chips, of course!

Middle one is my gaming monitor, left I use for dumb shit like browsing and when I stream I use it to watch my channel. The right is really just teamspeak/steam/skype messenger stuffs. Also it helps alot when I sometimes mess with coding and stuff. Ima get a pic of the inside management right now post in a few minutes
