This will be a project a tournament style event that where officers play games that is not their main game. Example: if an officer main game is League of Legends, they cannot play that portion of the tournament. This is will be our primary focus in research and development. This event is to be kept secret from the rest of the clan and can only be discuss within this department, any violation of this will result of explelled from this project.

Maybe im not understanding,
Is this basically an "Officer only tournament" but they can't take part in the tournys being placed for their game. Right?

Here is the basic ideas behind the officer wars.
All officers play free games, cannot play in their main game
Officers play every f2p game out there, must sign up for them
tf2, starcraft 2 allowed, dota 2, hots, league of legends, smite, infinite crisis
1-2 month warning for practice
Stream it every time you can
Ex;
main game, lol
Set of games:
Tf2, starcraft 2, dota2, league of legends, hots, smite, infinite crisis, anything showing your score and almost everything is a 1v1
Put those up, people play in matches. No best of 3, until finals. Each game with a mini tournament
say 10 people sign up for dota 2, 10 people sign up 5 people left, 1 person sits out in finals
1v1 1v1, +1
finals is a best of 5 (HELP OF TOURNAMENTS SECTION)
Base scores on position they got in tournament
sc2 1 - 10 points
dota 2 6 - 2 points
Final match qualifier
14 v 12 pts, final match decider = infinite crisis and nobody's played it. Newest game = last game played in finals
Final winner of everything = winner
-Precurser to start fever wars, test run.

it's not a Sounds good moment fellas, you need to flesh out the idea. What you know is.
You cannot play your main game or any game you feel like you have "great" skill in, honor code. Thus I will not be playing heroes of the storm or Dota 2.
You need to think up and make a list of what games are solid for 1v1's and are free to play, should it be SC2 or SC2 HOTS? Should HOTS be involved atall?
Need to come up with a template that officers who want to participate can fill out for when the official officer wars thread is made.
Need to contact Doc as the tournament admins will be running this event.
Officers only for now, because it's a lot of managing just with officers, this is a test run to see how we do, if it goes well, we may open it to all of Fever within 3 months after.
Need to make a point system up, if you get 1st place in Dota 2, how many points do you get? Do you get more points with more participants or are all games even?
How would streaming work? Would there be a different game each weekend for a month and a week? Would Fever Coin Betting be ok'd? Cybernetcrash
Should there be awards for something like this? What should the grand prize be?
Start thinking things up guys, I planned this all out myself with Poly last time(3ish years ago), a small group like this should have a easier time. Snailey Rimeraz Kodexx voncheeter @anyone else in the retention dept.

Possibly not for this wars, but for future wars, Organizing the clan war using the platoon system.
This would reinforce the use of platoons, as we know their main game based on the platoon they are in. Each platoon leader could coordinate among their given platoon who has interest in competing in such an event.
This would leave generals and leaders open to "run" the tournament. A Clan war on this scale would be incredibly challenging and demanding of time to be ran.
For The Officer wars-
I think the idea is a great one. I think having it streamed is a brilliant idea. It would give new recruits/enlisted members a chance to get to know the officers/generals/leader's personalities. Making people compete in games that they arent good at shows that it is for fun, not to see who is the "best".
An issue I forsee arising is an advantage being given to a player based on how much experience they have with the game. For example: In league you have to be level 30 to have access to all the runes/masteries. Are we going to be pitting a level 10 player vs a level 30 player would be unfair, no matter the skill gap based on runes/masteries giving bonuses to the level 30. I don't know how to fix this issue, just figured I would bring it up.
