Looks a bit like SPHAX from the trees, but to the texture pack he is using a Shader, probably the SEUS shader, that alone makes your game look much better

a very popular texture pack is the chroma texture pack. I think I'll make a list of the most popular texture packs or Resource packs how they are called nowadays.

and make a lil tutorial on how to set them up and maybe even make them yourself.

That would definitely help, I'd certainly take advantage of such a list.

I'm going to look into Chroma now.
