In The Cayo Perico Heist, players will need to infiltrate Cayo Perico, the heavily fortified home of notorious drug lord “El Rubio,” to assist the Madrazo crime family. Bring home as much loot and information as you can and get back home alive.
The Cayo Perico heist is the biggest Heist yet and (for the first time ever) players can decide to embark on the entire operation alone, or team up with up to three teammates.
To begin, players much meet a new contact at The Music Locker, located below The Diamond Casino Heist. Head to the VIP section to meet Miguel Madrazo, the heir to the Madrazo crime family. Board Miguel’s jet and masquerade as a DJ to gain access to Cayo Perico, then case the island’s secure locations to plan your heist.
Cayo Perico is open to different styles of approach. Plan as little or as much as you like before executing the heist, then decide how to infiltrate and escape, as well as your weapons, air support, and more. You can even determine what time of day to carry out the heist.
Raid hidden staches and take advantage of other opportunities outside of the heists parameters (some of which require a team) to bring home as much loot as you can.
The Kosatka Submarine has also been added. Captained by Pavel, you’ll find The Kosatka Submarine equipped with a room for you, a mess hall, a brig, a bridge with a Heist Planning Screen, as well as options for Mk II Weapons Workshop and Guided Missiles, and a Moon Pool to store the new Sparrow helicopter and Kraken Avisa underwater craft.
The Kosatka Submarine can be used to traverse the waters of Southern South Andreas, where you can find lost cargo. Use the optional Sonar Station to find Hidden Caches on the ocean floor.
The Music Locker and recently detailed radio station update is also live, which includes new radio stations like Kult FM 99.1 and Still Slipping Los Santos, as well as updates and new music for other stations. See previous updates for more information.

The Military Rifle is a bullpup-style weapon, and is available from Ammu-Nation. The Combat Shotgun can be obtained during the Cayo Perico Heist Finale, which unlocks it at Ammu-Nation. The special pistol of El Rubio can be found somewhere on Cayo Perico, so be sure to explore the island during the heist to claim it for yourself.
