Organize a team/clan job to do Forums Games on a regular basis to keep forums activity up and make it fun

Eh. Forum games are just a way for people to spam forums and doesnt really encourage activity. The only people who will actively post on them are people gpijg for post count or someone looking for easy posts who otherwise would already be posting. Sorry but i dont support this one.

i actually belive this is false, If im not mistaken, In our meeting [MENTION=41504]Izzo[/MENTION] you mentioned this had been done in the past right?

well this is just from my experiences from 10 years of gaming and about 8 with gaming communities. I believe from what I have seen forum games are just used to spam and don't really contribute much to the community. It will raise post count, sure. It will be fun for already active members, of course. It will be a place for members that don't really care much to make a "shit" post so that don't get removed, definitely. And that is the problem, it will be used to meet the bare minimum of 1 post every 14 days and for spam posting.

i never did like how it raised post count for spam like posts in my old community we just disabled post count addition to that specific forum

Yeah [MENTION=300]born[/MENTION] I've seen communities turn off the ability for it to count towards post count aswell. But it still didnt encourage members to be active in anyway.

well theyre still coming to the site to engage in those forum games. so i think it is still community building and keeping them active

Exactly.

Remember, Joker, We are the Member Activity Team. We need to create and hold Member Activities that are at least fun for somebody. I can see people liking this.

Okay, if you guys think its a good idea lets get it rolling in just saying ot isnt going to encourage anyone new to be active it will only be the same old people
