Welcome to Fever's Book Club!
Lustrum and I have decided it would be a really cool idea to start a fever a book. To make sure there is enough time for everyone in Fever to read the book, and to keep it a little casual so we can all keep up our own reading, We will keep it to one book a month. Each member will get a chance to choose the book of the month, we will go down the list of members and when you are up you will pick. Once we reach the end we will start at the beginning once more.
We will start reading the book of the month on the first of the month, and we will start reviewing and dicussing said book on the 27th, so we have a few days before the next book is started. If every member finishes the book early, then we can choose whether or not to discuss/start the next one early.
If you want to skip a book for a month because you don't think you will like it or it's way out of your comfort zone then you can, but keep in mind the whole idea of a book club is to get to try different books, books that you might not of chose on your own. Try and keep an open mind!
Picking Guidelines:
You are welcome to choose any book you would like, but try and keep a couple things in mind. One off books may be better, just because the book changes every month. If you do select a book that is in a series however, make sure to pick the first book, unless it has already come up as book of the month in a previous month. Just make sure you are going in order! The last thing I would recommend, due to everyones different pace of reading, and how busy they are in life try to keep your selection under 1000 pages. If there is a book you really want to select that is longer than that, try and run it by the members first.
In the event that everyone finishes the book of the month early we will start the discussion early, and when we finish if every member of the club would like to start the next book early then we will.
If you are interested in joining the bookclub, just post below and I will add you to the list!
Current Book:
The book of Deacon
The Book of Deacon (The Book of Deacon, #1) by Joseph R. Lallo — Reviews, Discussion, Bookclubs, Lists

Nice idea there!
Unfortunately I don't have enough time but I'll be surely interested in your discussions.

I like this idea!
Sadly I don't have the time to commit to reading (the last book I finished front to back was I think 6 years ago). In Highschool they tried to make me read. I tried, I really did. I read the first page of the book and got bored, so I stopped.
I do like hearing discussions though so if you are having one and don't mind me listening, in let me know.
Thanks,
Arimil
