Deep in the forums, down the twisted stairs, rotting with spammers looking for a game master, lives a small village of folks that want to make some characters and run around collaborating over stories and adventures.

Dungeon and Dragons (DND) 5th Edition (5e)
What is it?

This Role Playing (RP) Tabletop game is a masterpiece from the gaming company Wizards of the Coast.
The Players
Game Master (GM) or Dungeon Master (DM) -
Creator of the world, environment and creatures within it
Player Characters (PC)s - Individuals seeking cooperative adventure by making a party within the GMs world
The Goal
Armed with a character sheet and a mindset of adventure, a story is told between the GMs world and the Player Characters to set out achieving more than their past lives in a cooperative fashion. Standard groups are formed between 2-8 players, but numbers can be as big or small depending on play style and wants.

Here is the base rules for Dungeons and Dragons 5e to understand the core of the game.
DnD_BasicRules_2018.pdf

Note: The Game Master and players can modify, update or remove specific rules associated to the game if wanting to setup a different style as well. This is mostly referred to as Homebrew.
Some examples of homebrew can be found here: 5e Homebrew - D&D Wiki
Please be aware that tables can allow homebrew elements, but the Game Master has final say in what is allowed in the world environment.

If you have any questions, wish to start your own game or finally join one, put your hat into the ring and discuss. The biggest relation that we want to create is the joy of having a fun environment. So, are you in?

~~Resources~~
ONLINE TABLES
https://app.roll20.net/ - One of the main sites that can be used for Free Tables to run and save your games that you start. It even has a built in Character Sheet setup for various versions of the game, one most known for their 5e setup. Slide in some tokens, build your maps and get those swords flying! This is where we have some fun straight out of the gate.
>Create an account with a valid email address and you can join someone's game or create one yourself!
REFERENCES
http://dnd5e.wikidot.com/ - References of spells, races, backgrounds, classes, items, feats and more that are easy to find and use within games. This has a good majority of the materials and is updated quite frequently. It doesn't have everything, but is great at summarizing a large amount of the books into an easy to explore website of materials.
https://5e.tools/ - This website is an amazing resource for DMs and Players alike and has a bunch of subsections for the GM to setup for encounters or story creatures quickly, while also having elements laid out for really fantastic ease.
> Bestiary - 5etools - 300+ creatures, stat blocks, tokens and more.
> CR Calculator - 5etools - Table, Calculate and Balance encounters or custom creature stats instantly
Actions QuickRef - Reference to possible Actions, Bonus Actions, Movement, Reactions
TOOLS
TokenTool
- Create Tokens and other quick items
donjon - Need a dungeon on the fly or setup a massive layered setting that you can just randomly throw on the table? Donjon has got your back. Mix and match the map to create a setup that will fill those empty spaces! This site also has spells, monster lists, Encounter Size Calculator, Random Generators and more. Check it out!
NPC Generator - 10 seconds to make a (Non-Player Character) NPC background on the spot? Just generate one here and roll with it. I have even used some of these as main allies or Big Bad Evil Guys (BBGE)s.
Dungeon Scrawl by ProbableTrain - Creator for maps, dungeons and other 2d grid setups

And much more. If you have any suggestions for useful sites, please feel free to add to the list.
