Thread for discussion and implementation of office hours:

Office hours in collegiate standpoint is a chance for you to get help, bond with the professor, and get to know them as individuals. They usually provide support on the subject being studied, and even provide guidance in career paths and futures.

In Fever's setting. Make officers, generals, and leaders more approachable more here for the general members.
Idea is to get several officers, generals, and leaders to host an hour session of office hours where members can stop by:
-Ask help about ranking up, fever jobs, conflict resolution
-Get to know the officer, general, or leader more. What do they do as a living? Are they in school?
-Ask for advice in personal life and in gaming
-Play some games
-Just hang out and have some fun

What is needed?
-Get volunteers from each tier of officership to volunteer to host an hour session where they will be available on a teamspeak channel (we can work on getting a channel made for office hours or just use existing officers club channel.
-Create a timetable of which officers will be on which days and which times
-Promote the occurrence through thread creation and talking about it to people on teamspeak
-Have a feedback loop of some kind so people can give feedback on the office hours
-Logs for people who attend office hours and people who host office hours (person hosting needs to log the attendance)
-Potential coin distribution for attendance

So who's willing to help. Will just need 1 or 2 people to volunteer to help coordinate this effort.

The idea is good but I'm not sure about implementation.. I mean i sit in the upper channels and when people join the channel i help them and get them answers. Normally i at this time i'm playing games with buddies and just alt tab out to help but as for dedicating an hour to sitting in a channel solo waiting for people to come in who need help i think is asking a bit much. : / Nothing wrong with approaching us in channel while we are playing games... That is why we are officers and other aren't.

Ya but if we have a time set for people to come in and not be worried about bothering. It will be cool. I can see it potentially being a thing people look forward to!

I happen to like this idea. I think some people are honestly afraid to approach officers/generals/leaders when they are in game channels. And some people seem to always be in the restricted general/leadership channels, so enlisted can't just hop into whatever channel that may be. An hour of the time one generally spends on TS socializing wouldn't be a bad thing.
It could maybe start out with some who volunteer before making it something more mandatory (if that is the eventual idea).
It could help members get to know some of the ones who stick to their set channels and don't come out except for meetings LOL.

[MENTION=300]born[/MENTION] I will be 2LT on the next wave and will be more then willing to do this on Fridays/Saturdays and I think we should just use a game night channel so people will not be afraid to join the channel also put it on the calendar and post in the chat box to raise awareness
