I honestly wouldn't mind seeing more of a return to the traditional tactics of the game before it got overrun by CoD players. No offense to them of course, but I don't like the whole idea of constantly pushing all the objectives to control them all that has found its way onto Battlefield since BF3. I miss the old days of Battlefield 2 where you didn't feel the need to control everything and were happen with controlling just enough to make the other team's tickets bleed. Sure, if we had the teamwork capabilities to do it, we controlled more objectives, but we didn't try and of the annoying control everything and spawn trap malarkey that it has turned into.
It has gotten to the point where even the recon players cannot sit on a hill anymore without being called a camper even if they are tagging everything they can see. To me, you don't need the entire team on objectives taking them all. Having people sitting off on hills or the tops of buildings, watching the enemy team and letting their teammates know where they are and what they are doing is just as important as capping a flag. I would personally rather know about a vehicle full of enemy players coming towards the flag I am taking than to know about it after they have killed me.
