Aside from playing 1 goof off game on my birthday in July, I haven't touched it seriously since early March

nearly 4k hours played, countless hours streamed of it

Not really, I’ve been playing it since 1.6 and it’s became boring with time, so I decided to sell CS:GO skins and remove the game. It was a fun experience, but it doesn’t bring as much joy to me.

Also, if we look at Steam Charts, we’ll notice that its player base is constantly decreasing. However, it might be only due to the summer season.
