Watching a Roy Andersson film feels like watching a painting. I've only seen this and A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence and he gives me a lot of the phrase Every Frame is a Painting. About Endlessness is his ode to nihilism and the human condition in all of its meaningless manners. It's both subtly humorous and openly grim and dreary. It reminds the viewer that life doesn't matter and everything doesn't matter at all. The scene where two people hover over a town was gorgeously done.
