      Change is upon us!
The platoon system as we know it, is officially retiring.

Please give this a proper read, if you haven't done so yet.
Coming along with the changes to the platoon system, there's also updates on officer requirements that should be interesting. If you want to, let us know what you think of this!

And don't forget that you can ask any kind of question in the thread about all of this, if you're curious or don't understand something.

      ----------

The Fever Winter Art contest is finally over!
We have decided on the winners and will notify them until this weekend, and announce them officially in next week's issue

      ----------

This week's auction is for the game called Tomb Raider II!

Welcome to Fever! Also, welcome back to any of you joining our clan once again!
If you would like to say hello to us, then you can introduce yourself here or directly in the sections of the games you're playing, to find people to play with right away.

A little note for any Diablo 3 players: Currently "Fever Clan" is pretty filled up - so it could be that you're better off if you apply to "Fever Clan 2"!

Hopefully you will enjoy your time here - and also show yourself on our TeamSpeak regularly

      Fever Jobs!
If you're interested in any of those, you can contact the responsible people through PM on the forum or try and catch them on TS!

      Recruiting:
You want to help out our Recruiting Teams and bring new people in?
      Then contact...

@Vex & @KittyMae to join the Looking For Group (LFG) Team!
You'd be scouting for people, who are looking out for clans and invite them to us.

      ----------
      Game Sections:
Sometimes our gaming sections need some fresh blood and help to either start up or keep going!
So, if that sounds interesting to you, contact...

@Flux, who is in need of someone to take over the Heroes of the Storm - Nexus Academy.
You would have to host the academy at least once every two weeks for anyone who's interested. Plan out what tactics (for specific maps or enemy teams, etc) or team compositions you should cover and help players improve their gameplay and focus every week on something different. See it like an educational gamenight with coaching.
Bring in your own ideas and help your fellow players out!

@DurandaL, who is on the lookout for more officers to help out the Overwatch Company.

      ----------
      Forum jobs:
Do you like being active in our forum and help our community?
      Then contact...

@Sura to join the Greeting Team.
Go through the newly accepted applications every day and shoot them a greeting message to get them started, get in touch with them and overall make them feel welcome in the clan!

      ----------
      Content Creators:
Would you like to keep us updated about patch-notes, new upcoming content or create guides and even whole articles all by yourself?
      Then contact...

@efgodlike, @Remmy or @Hemera if you'd like to become a Content Creator in general, for any section you'd like! Just message one of them and talk it through with them to get started.
Right now though, they're especially looking for people interested in Dungeons and Dragons and Path of Exile!

      ----------
      Social Media:
Are you an out-going person who would like to represent our clan on social media and get in contact with others?
      Then consider contacting...

@Doiri for becoming a Streamer or Host for the Fever Streaming Team.
Catch some attention from people with your stream and make them interested in our community!

      ----------
      Game Night Hosts:
If organizing a game night and keeping people entertained is a thing you'd like to do, then contact...

@KittyMae, if you'd be interested in becoming an Event Night Host!
That basically entails hosting any sort of gathering that doesn't involve any of our main games. For example already hosting Cards Against Humanity and generally things along those lines.

@Niine, who is trying to start up CS:GO Game Nights.
If you’re interested, please head over to the CS:GO section and give her some suggestions here!

      Got a spare $15 million?
Why not buy your very own D-Wave quantum computer!

D-Wave has signed up the first customer for its high-end quantum computer after the technology went on general sale.
Cybersecurity firm Temporal Defense Systems bought the D-Wave 2000Q – the firm’s first 2,000 quantum bit (qubit) quantum computer – and although the price it paid has not been revealed, the computer is valued $15 million.
The system is D-Wave’s follow-up to the 1,000 qubit 2X, released in August 2015.

The jump from 1,000 qubits to 2,000 will allow researchers to grapple with greater quantities of data and more complex problems. According to D-Wave, the quantum 2000Q is capable of outperforming “classical servers” by factors of between 1,000 and 10,000.
While it’s widely agreed D-Wave’s systems are using quantum computing for calculations, it isn’t clear if the technology will ever be able to tackle real-world problems. At present, D-Wave’s systems are only suitable for solving so-called optimisation problems.

The company, based in British Columbia, Canada, was founded in 1999 and is the first in the world to sell quantum computers. The 128 qubit D-Wave One, released in May 2011, was the world’s first commercially available quantum computer. In May 2013 its D-Wave Two 512-qubit system was used for a collaborative research project carried out by Nasa, Google and the Universities Space Research Association.

      ----------

      SUMMARY:

"RUN & GUN! - ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET STYLE!"

The laundry list of failed modern FPS games continues to get longer and longer - yet behold! When the Steam Winter Sale kicked off, I was looking for a story driven FPS that had something special to it. Without Multiplayer issues to worry about, Wolfenstein: The New Order offered everything I could possibly want, especially since I have been playing the franchise since its beginning; alternate history lore, top notch game mechanics, and a clear focus on simply enjoying the FPS experience as a gamer. So many "modern" FPS games have lost touch with this ideology because of trying to implement gimmicks and new ways of reinventing the wheel - which have mostly been fails. All that aside, let's strap on our armor, check for full metal jacket, and kill some nazi scum!

      ----------

      ----------

      THE GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE:

First things first: This game gives you the ability to play how you want, but doesn't shove it in your face. Prefer to run and gun with dual assault rifles? Then you get perk bonuses that coincide with that. Enjoy the classic sneak and peek, or slitting the throats of the bad guy takedown ninja style? There are perk bonuses for that too. Filling back up on gear is a matter of running through cleared areas, checking around the map, and capitalizing on the "overhealthed" game mechanic at the right time. All the classic hallmarks are here - different tiers of baddies come with different strengths and weaknesses, and with that also comes different ways to approach the enemy. Killing some of the top dog bosses lacked a little excitement, but still offered intense chess-like battles, requiring you to think and shoot. The way reloading happens feels good, and the same goes for shooting and the impact on the enemy. It's a beautiful game no doubt, and one that I am glad I waited to buy when it was dirt cheap, but also sad that I had to wait so long to play.

      ----------

      STRONG POINTS OF THE GAME:

      - Masterful game mechanics - this is an FPS that feels fresh & clean.
      - Classic gear system & power up stations.
      - Moving story with all the alternate history lore you could possibly want.

      ----------

      WEAK POINTS OF THE GAME:

      - No multiplayer.
      - Searching for rare artifacts & easter eggs can be exhausting.
      - They could have added a touch of DLC - perhaps a survival mode?

      ----------

      THE FINAL WORD:

      GRAPHICS / ART DESIGN:

USER INTERFACE / HUD / OVERALL VISUAL PRESENTATION:

      AUDIO / SOUND MECHANICS:

GAME HANDLING & OVERALL OPERATION MECHANICS:

FRAMES PER SECOND (FPS) & OVERALL OPTIMIZATION (BASED ON MY RIG SPECIFICATIONS!):

      FINAL OVERALL RATING:

      - Turtle Beach Earforce X12 Headset

      ----------

      SUMMARY:
